Dieses Gerät wird zum Programmieren und Auslesen von Decodern über den PC verwendet, Es wird ein Gleis und das Netzteil angeschlossen, sowie das Gerät per USB an den Computer verbunden. Dann kann der Decoder über die DecoderPro Software problemlos ausgelesen und neu programmiert werden. Auch ein sofortiger Test der neuen Einstellungen ist auf dem angeschlossenen Gleis möglich. So kann man bequem Lichtfunktionen, Geschwindigkeitskurven, Funktionen, usw. einstellen und sofort testen. SPROG ist kompatibel zu allen Decodern sämtlicher Hersteller die nach dem NMRA Standard hergestellt werden.
